I think I just had one. I'm 41, 6' 1" and 185 lbs.

Yes. I had to go to an endocrinologist because of horomonal imbalance. First thing he ordered was an MRI of my pituitary gland to make sure it was OK. Then I needed a blood test and now I have patches which have pretty much solved the problem. If it's a "one off" thing then you shouldn't worry, but if they're on-going then you probably should get it checked out.

Not in the same was as women do. Women's hot flashes are due to hormones Oestrogen and progesterone which men have only in tiny quantities
