Socrates the philosopher have said that one thing that i know is that i know nothing. The knowledge of truth is one of the most difficult parts in our life. To seek for the truth can also be dangerous because the light of knowledge is so powefull that can blind you if you are not prepared to face it. The more you research and investigate the more you will learn. However, in order to start this endless journey to find truth, you will need a very strong point of reference. Something unbreakable that you can start and return whenever you need to and be safe. Without it whatever you learn , even if this is a small particle in the long chain of knowledge, will not be stored and be processed and will lead to confussion, missunderstanding and fanatism. You will never be alone when you search for the truth. Α presence will always be close to you to help you, but try to stay always on the right path the path of good and light. If you decide to follow the dark and evil path the presence will not follow you there. Don't forget to bring a candle with you. You must always be prepared to what you will find next.

Everybody is alone in the search. The universe is so incompressible that probably no one will ever understand it completely. That is why simplistic answers as offered by religion are so popular. You have to resign yourself to the fact that you cannot know everything, but never stop searching or learning.

Yes, but I wouldn't use the word "stuck".
The truth has to be your truth, not someone else's.
What's true is true for you, based on your own observation and experience.
It doesn't mean that the answers to your questions are unknowable just because no one else has provided you with them . It just means the ones you've come across so far are not true for you. It also means that you have high personal integrity.
Keep looking, and don't compromise with your own reality.

read "Searching for the great truth" by Esam Qassab.
the writer in this book suspected thoughts and religions through his study and deep thinking in his way to truth ,and he shows you in a convincing and open minded way his proofs, then at the end of his search he found his way that he thinks it is true, this book is really good for you to read if you are searching the truth!
if the truth that someone is trying to convince you with, does not give you the way to be more humanist, more rational ,more active, more loving, and gives you satisfying answers to your questions about the meaning of life then it is not truth!

Yes, you have to find your own meaning, as everyone should. But don't be afraid to take into account some of the best minds that have lived, and some of the kindest people that have lived. There's nothing wrong with gaining knowlege from the wise.

No, you're not alone. Oprah recently had a guest who wrote a book I think is on DVD now for sale, but you could go to her site, Oprah.com and the book/DVD is called "The Secret", and it's supposed to explain the whole thing. For real! Check it out.

Yes, all people have to search for the universe's meaning. You do not find your own, you recon with what is there.

Yes, and that's a good thing. You shouldn't have to totally rely on other people's beliefs.
