Yes. The whole point of a drug test is to test for drugs. Most of the over-the-counter tests you can buy without a prescription test for the basic illegal drugs and a few presciption drugs. Most will test for marijuana (THC), cocaine, meth/amphetamines, benzos (Xanax, Valium, etc.) and opiates (painkillers, heroin). The box will elaborate as to what else it will cover (PCP, Ectasy, etc.). The tests do not tests for things like Tylenol, Motrin, etc.
