No you are NOT abnormal or weird or anything. I think that its great that you are still a virgin and plan to wait until the right time. Not sure of your beliefs or anything but i say well done.

I guess some people might be jealous of you, because you have the strength to believe in yourself and wait. Don't worry about what other people say and think. Be yourself.. and don't bow to peer presure

If there is something wrong with being a 17 year old virgin, then there would definitely be something wrong with being a 20 year old virgin [which I am]. It's not a big deal. I pride myself in knowing that I'm saving myself for someone special rather than sleeping with anyone who wants me. If anything, you should be proud and not ashamed.

It's absolutely fine that you are still a virgin. Possibly you just haven't found the right person and you are waiting until you are in love to take that big step. No need to do something just because others are doing it. You should be commended!

Yes it is normal.
The guy was an asshole.
What is not normal is a 13 or 14 year old who has had sex .(it's too early)

It is okay. You don't have to rush. Just live your life and live out your dreams, those are the important things.

sex is so overrated in highschool, there are plenty of teenagers and adults who have chosen due to moral or cultural reasons not to lose their virginties.
