Listen, to repeat what the majority has said, God hates the sin.
We all have sin in our lives that sometimes can be hard to overcome, but Jesus died so His blood can cover our sins when we humbly and genuinely come to Him for forgiveness. Through Him, we are overcomers.
Ways to be a better Christian and to help:
1. Find a good Church. A good church will build you up and surround you with people who can help. That's where growing begins.
2. Get in your Bible. It's God's word, and God-inspired. Pray that God will make it come alive in you so that you see things in there like never before.
3. Pray. Yes it's typical. but it is our one-on-one conversation with our Father. Pray for comfort and for Him to show you His love.
4. Surrender. Drop everything at His feet. He will take it and hold it for you. We are not meant to carry our burdens, He will carry them for us if we surrender them to Him.
Hope these help! Later.

It sounds like you're having a tough time, but "God" doesn't hate you.
If you want to be a better Christian start by reading your bible. The Christian "God" loves everyone, regardless of who they are and no matter what they've done.
If you believe "God" controls the Universe and what happens in your life then be assured you haven't been singled out for particularly bad treatment by a supposedly omnipotent being, if "He" really hated you things would be a lot lot worse than they are ... considering you have access to an Internet connection, which means you either have cash to spare for an Internet cafe, or have a roof over your head and a phone line, it doesn't sound as though the "supreme controller of everything" has it in for you.
God isn't the master of your destiny ... YOU are. If life's really that bad seek a life counsellor who can point out where you're going wrong.

A a perfectly just and righteous being, God hates sin, not the sinner.
It may seem a trite answer, but faith in God will make you more pius and a better Christian. But, by faith I mean the following:
Faith commences with the conviction of the mind based on adequate evidence; faith continues in the confidence of the heart or emotions based on conviction, and faith is crowned in the consent of the will, by means of which the conviction and confidence are expressed in conduct.
Key points:
Conviction of the Mind
Confidence of the Heart
Consent of the Will
Conduct of the Body
As you can see from the above, faith affects the whole of a person's nature.

No, God loves you. All of us have these weird trails that we travel. Some things we have to overcome are harder than others.
A few things that I have found to of great help are
1. Read scriptures at least a few minutes every day.
2. Humble yourself before God.
3. Pray to your Father in Heaven in the name of Jesus Christ. Ask him to help you and to guide.
4. Go out and do everything you possibly can to make sure your prayers are answered. When you do all that you can, God makes up the difference.
I hope this helps.

First you have to understand you were a sinner not are.God has saved you by grace. We all fall short but dont speak over your life that you are a sinner. second God loves you more than life! He died for you! you need to look at the stumbling blocks that the devil is setting before you and use them as stepping blocks. I mean really search God and grow pray, and read the word. consume yourself in Gods glory! you cant go wrong by doing that!

God does not hate you. God is love.(I John 4:8) But you need to ask yourself a few questions. Look at Hebrews 12:8 "But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons." Chastisement means when a child of God sins, God brings them back to their place of fellowship. You cannot practise sin and be a child of God. If you are a child of God, God will chasten you out of that sin and bring you back into fellowship or he will have to put you to death. I John 5:16 talks about the sin unto death. This is only for the child of God.
One more thing to rembember is that 1 John is a good test to see if you are a child of God. There's only 5 chapters and it is easy to see where you stand with God.
Finally, David was a man after God's own heart.(I samuel 13:14) He commited adultry and murder. God called David a man after his own heart, Now God did not condone his sin because he judged David for it. But he loved David. That is the same with us. God does not condone our sin. He must judge it because he is holy.
And Christ died and rose again (I Corinthians 13:3) so that the sin question would be settled. I John 1:9 says that we are forgiven through christs blood. Isn't that wonderful love?

God never hates people He hates the sins. If you are going through trials and tribulations then He is trying to draw you closer to Him. That is when He knows you love Him is when you seek Him during the rough times. Just pray, read your Bible, ask others to pray, and trust in God. He is fine tuning you to become closer to Him. Also if you are going through trials, then Satan is trying to get you to turn from God. Read the book of Job. He went through so much, and still worshiped God, and God doubled His blessings to Him. Read about Joseph and the Coat of Many Colors, and all that he went through, and yet he was blessed in the end. I am so thankful for the trials. That means I am serving the Lord, and learning something from Him. Paul and Silas was in prison, and singing praises after being beatin.

Then don't overcome them. All christianity means to me is denial of the self. Stop worrying about your rights and wrongs and just get on with living. Life is too damn short. You get old and then what? Sat there in your chair thinking of all the things you could have done!!!

God does not hate you, He hates the sin. the thing thats sometimes hard to understand is His grace, and its hard because you are feeling guilty of the sins that have a hold on you. Gods grace gives us the chance of forgiveness, and when you ask Jesus to forgive you that sin is gone forever. Pray and realize God loves you and is there for you. For me personally reading scripture helps, some verses are reminders that we have forgiveness and that Jesus loves us...and it helps. There is inspiration too. I also find it helpful to find friends who have the same beliefs as they are likely to help you too. Fellowship is great, and they too can pray for ya. If ya need any prayer or help, please dont hesitate to email me =)
