I am getting my 4 wisdom teeth this afternoon, and I was wondering if I would be ok to go out on Wednesday.

Yes! You may not want to go out for a big fancy dinner, as you will still be a little sore. But, it depends on your tolerance for pain. I personally had mine out and went out for pizza the same night. Others take a few days to feel like doing anything. You should be fine. Just don't drink out of a straw or eat anything hard and scratchy for a few days...

It depends on how many you are having removed and how impacted they are. I was 18 years old when I had mine out, all 4 at the same time and all 4 were impacted (sideways in my gums). I was in bed for an entire week following that. I would say it would probably not be a good idea for you to go out on Wednesday. Your cheeks will probably be swollen and possibly bruised and you should take the time to recover and heal.

If you follow Dr.'s orders, you may feel well enough to out. But you will probablyhave to still take your pain pills, which may put a wet blanket over your plans, as those pain pills tend to zonk you out and if you're going to be drinking, you shouldn't mix the two. I'd play it by ear, but it may be better for you to just stay in this week and push your plans off until next week.
I had all 4 of mine out way back in college, and I didn't listen to the Dr. and I got dry socket in all four holes. Boy, THAT was a painful lesson!!!

Probably not. You'll still be unable to eat anything remotely solid, and chances are you'll still be in some pain. It usually takes about a week before you really start feeling like you even *want* to go out.

If you are going to consume alcohol you should probably not drink it with your med's it will only prolong your healing process.......so no,there will be another Wednesday next week!!! Anton South Africa

You should probably be ok by then. But don't drink alcohol or do anything strenuous. Everybody is different. Just make sure that you listen to your body.

when i had all 4 of mine out i looked and felt horrible for about a week. but maybe you'll be different. if your face swells you should try using ice packs.
