A lot of the Bible was written in parables so that no matter where you are at spiritually, you can understand some part of it, at your level of understanding. The more you study, and the more you seek understanding from God’s Holy Spirit, the deeper your understanding.

It is letting the Bible explain itself.

Quite often the so called "contradictions" in the Bible happen because people do not take the time to study the Bible.

Just reading the 10 preceding and following verses will often explain something that we do not understand.

As an example, Jesus told a parable about the land owner and his vineyard. The question could be who were the evil laborers that were going to be done away with. About 10 verses before we read that the pharisees came asking Jesus a question. In response Jesus told this parable. So as it turns out, it is the religious leaders that God is going to disposes and bring in others to be a part of God's garden (or kingdom as explained in Psalms and else were).

Other example are more difficult, but work on the same principle.
The Bible does not contradict itself, it is our understanding that needs improving.

It sort of means that the Bible was written in a way that it can be interpreted in many different ways. The closer you are to God the more he opens up, and a verse you read a year ago could mean something totally different to you now.

The Bible is the inspired word of God and is actual in each and every way. The Bible includes each and every of the actuality it incredibly is mandatory for our salvation. we've not got any choose for of the different teachings - be it the instructions of the church fathers or custom. The word of God, it incredibly is interior the scriptures of the previous and New Testaments, is the only rule to direct us how we would glorify and enjoy him. The word trinity heavily isn't suggested in the Bible yet is implied in the 1st actual financial ruin of Genesis the place it says that the earth replaced into formless and empty and the Spirit of God replaced into soaring over the waters. Later in the financial ruin God says "enable us to make guy in our image" indicating the plurality of God. Many truths are fairly for sure implied in the Bible regardless of the actuality that in line with danger no longer categorically reported. simply by fact of this we would desire to prayerfully examine and intently learn God's word to stay away from misinterpretation.

"Interpretation" (a.k.a.: hermenutics) is simply trying to figure out what the author really meant. Nothing more.
