I do not wish to be "tolerated." I wish to be respected and accepted for my beliefs--not "accepted" as in everyone agrees with me, but "accepted" as in everyone says: to each their own. Being "tolerated" is almost as bad a feeling as being discriminated against.

Tolerance is a pretty vague term. I think we're all tolerated. If you draw a line between tolerance and acceptance, then I would say generally it is not.

I'm not exactly sure what you mean. If your talking about religion, then every religion in the world has to be tolerated to some point. There's no two ways around it.

Tolerance is a tricky word. Do you tolerate rape, murder, child abuse? If you don't, you are intolerant. We don't tolerate sin, we forgive people of it.
