ok...

this is what i found from a professional agency called, "just in time nannies.com": Pay Babysitter directly the following: 1 Child $8.00/hr, 2 Children $8.50/hr, 3 Children $9.00/hr, 4 Children $9.50/hr.

You're also feeding the one lunch though. So depending on what you feed the child, I would add a "lunch fee" for the parent to pay or just include it in the price. However, the one is off to school so you really don't watch her the entire time...only a few hours.

Given that you are doing this out of you home, and since their Mom probably can't afford daycare at a center or a Montessori School, you would need to work with her...although, you need to mae an income too (I'm sure). If you charged $4 an hour that would roughly be $120/week. Maybe instead of an hourly rate you could do a flat week rate of $70-80. It all depends on what Mom or Dad does too though. If they are BOTH making $10 an hour, that means they are really going to be making $8. Now if they are each making $50-100 and hour....I think you could charge more. :)

i'd say about 3 to 4 money an hour. Charging 5 and up is searching too a lot. so that you truly babysat the children for 6 hours and nil.5-hour so that you will be coming to a finished of 20 money or 25 depending in case you've been charging him 3 money an hour or 4 money an hour.

That is 8 hours of work a day so see what the child care centers charge and base it off of that. I am not familiar with Canada so I couldn't say for sure. If you want to give the parent a break, then charge less than the center would.

how many days do you work per week? there are a a lot of things to consider, are you feeding the four year old food from your home? is the child potty trained? are they well behaved?
I would say if you are working 5 days a week and you feed the child and she/he is not potty trained then I would say about $160-$180 per week.

I would try to find out what other sitters are charging. Also, how much can the mom afford to pay? I would be sure to charge less than the area daycares, because if you don't she may decide you are too expensive and just take them to daycare.
