how can i get the cute beach wave without the hard gel feeling......i want it to be manageble not with a lot of gel

I have tried alot of gels to find one that doesn't leave my hair stiff when I scrunch it and the best on I have found is Garnier Fructis. It's great. It gives your hair the hold for the curls but it stays movable and soft. Another thing you can do, if you are totally against gel is take sections of your hair and wrap it up (like in a spiral) and then wrap that around a large curling iron. Leave the iron closed when you do this just use the barrel. That works great too, but can take along time if you have alot of hair. My number one recommendation is the Garnier Fructis. I use pantene curl control mousse...it works well without making my hair frizzy or stiff like gel does.

I don't know. Maybe if you wanna impress a guy (so it's just for a one time only kinda thing) you can take curling irons. Or maybe you can keep curling your hair until it's like that forever. Or you can go to a hair salon and ask for tips

Uhh definately try Redken's Ringlet 07 Curl Perfector (is Medium control so it will not make your hair hard at all...I luv this stuff I use it everyday!!!)
