There is obviously a strong faith in the Bible , and I dont be-little anyone who does believe , and would defend them against anyone who did . Your beleifs whatever they are are the only thing's we can truly say are our very own . As long as they are formed with free will , and according to the Bible the only thing God gave us apart from life is free will , The question I ask now is to all true Beleivers .. who quoted me many scrolls as proof. What If a Scroll was found proving that Jesus was an ordinary man , No miracles , no raising of Lazeraus , no water to wine , no accenssion . a scroll from the same source that said the Bilble previously was fact , What would you base your faith on ?

hypothetically speaking IF there was a scroll saying Jesus was an ordinary man then all of history would have to be wrong and i would base my beliefs on the creator the one who created me God. but history is not wrong if it is who made it wrong and why can we not see the different version of it. also IF Jesus was ordinary then why can mere mortals do miracles in His name? forget the bible put that aside, lets take a look at all the catholic saints. to be a saint you have to do 3 miracles (not just be a martyr). and no human can without God through the Holy Spirit. hope this enlightens you.

Jesus was in fact an ordinary man inasmuch as he was born of a woman, felt pain, could cry and bleed and even die for our sins. I would not believe the scroll that you describe saying that he did not perform miracles. I have been at the death bed of a loved one and seen the beautiful smile on his face as he asked those of us present if we could see God all around us. We of course could not, but he was smiling through his pain and saying "let's go, let's go" I could not believe that there is no God, Jesus or Heaven after this experience.

Hmm. Right after you claim your "final question", you go and ask ANOTHER one!
I base MY faith on the fact that the one true God does NOT change lanes like that. His Word stands. Salvation of the eternal soul thru His Son, Jesus, is a constant.
And "ditto" on CMW.

I believe the bible as the ONLY infallible word of God......I could care less what any other document, scroll, person, group, whatever said....The bible is the infallible word of God and there is no need for any other source.

With no disrespect intended, this kind of what-if question serves no purpose. It's like asking what if you found out your parents had never existed? Or, if you didn't believe in God, in what would you believe? But I do believe in God, I do believe you had parents, and the life of Jesus is well documented.

To really believe that Jesus was ordinary you have to ask yourself did he bleed? He had to eat and sleep like the rest of us,of course he was human, He was extraordinary because he made people believe in themselves and changed an entire world when he commercialised religion, ordinary I don't think so, I think you asked the wrong question, I think you wanted to ask was he like one of us and the answer is yes.

i would like to believe that even if there were no religions that man would still come to realize the difference betwee good and evil. (it would be wrong to kill with malice, steal, cheat another, abuse etc.)
whether one likes to know this or not- it is the first 3 commandments that pertain to God. the last 7 are society based.

I would base my faith on the fact that I used to be a drug addict, smoker, adulterer, curser, liar, cheater and thief and that through the power of Jesus Christ I no longer desire to do those things, in fact I have power in my life through Him to not do them anymore.
