i think i came into contact with some today on my hand not enough to see, but i could smell it.i put my hand pretty close to my nose, also.i had a can of coke and when i opened it i used the infected hand i think.i could smell it on the coke but i dont think my lips touched it.about 2hours after coming into contact with it,i washed my handas with disinfectant.what should i do?should i wash everything else i touched?

I would not worry about it until you show symptoms of something. If anything, it would be a GI think like e-coli.
I would wipe down anything that you might have touched, just to be sure, but I see no real reason for concern.

Just to put things in perspective here. Dogs mouths are cleaner than humans. A human bite is worse than a dog bite. Wash your hands and discard the coke can. Get another one. I wouldn't go spaz about touching a bit of dog poo. Do you realize how many germs you come in contact with each day? How about public bathroom door nobs or people at salad bars that sneeze? It will make you crazy if you let it.

Although gross I think you are in more danger from dog HAIR rather than the poop. It is disgusting. I cant believe you could smell it and didnt wash for 2 whole hours.
Yeah, wash everything cause only the idea of it will gross you out.

It's just some dog poo. Throw out the Coke, which I assume you've done already and if it bothers you, spray down everything you touched with Lysol.

Well, the thing i would worry about is if the dog had worms or something of the like. I would call your doctor

we touch worse things and don't even know it and thus, don't wash our hands

you have washed and hopefully tossed out the coke

if you still freaked out just febreeze everything else you touched and lysol too
