Who said God is invisible? God is both visible & invisible. our eyes cannot see them so we think its invisible. A blind man cannot see the beauty of a red rose but we who have eyes enjoy it. So should the blind person say that rose is invisible. Its not like that similarly our eyes doesn't have the capability to visualise God. In Bhagawad, in Gita God revealed that when any human being do Bhakti Sadhana & immense prayers than God gives him/her the power to see him.

Without holiness, no one will see God. God is spirit and not Physical like buildings or flowers or you and me. Man also has a spirit, but not everyman will/is able to see God.

I partly agree with what 'Subhendu C' says "A blind man cannot see the beauty of a red rose but we who have eyes enjoy it. So should the blind person say that rose is invisible. It's not like that, similarly our eyes don't have the capability to visualise/see God".

Definitely not to the intellectualizing minds. especially to those who keep giving hints for an answer ;-) God is unconditional and hintless, He just exists. You have to live it or experience it (is Air visible? No but its effects are) God is quite like that :-)

He is there always with you. Your eye sight is not properly healthy to see him, just like a person with cataracts cannot see objects before him. To relieve this ailment a guru is always essential, just as an ophthalmic surgeon can make you see that object.
The guru will make you turn towards god. It is true.

Next time you think he is near, throw some talcum powder in the air and it might give him a dusting.
