We moved and our cat got out (its a rough area) he didnt come back for days, we were constantly looking for him, he wasnt anywhere! when he came home he was covered in dirt and soot and he had this evil look n his eyes and he was acting like he was possesed it was really scary.

he stopped doing this after a few weeks and he is a sweet cute little creature again now so dont stress

youll have your old kitty back in no time

Kimberly--a couple of questions here: is she spayed (i hope so, but why do I think NOT). And, if this is the case, she went out and got herself "knocked-up". Cats are rough during this mating process, so this is not something she's used to so YES, she will be a little frightened and skiddish for a few days. If you have NOT had her spayed---do it NOW! This will also stop her natural-born instinct to mate, and when given the opportunity will "bolt" out the door. Just be kind and loving with her, and she should be fine in a few days. But, if not spayed---get 'er done right now. This will stop any further incidents. Good luck with her.

I expect she is enjoying her new found freedom and she will come back - just make sure she can get it when she does decide to. I know how worried you are - we stayed up till the early hours when one of mine did the same - and she came wondering back wondering what all the fuss was about It's good that she won't let a stranger catch her - she will be safer that way.

I would definately go around and knock on the doors of your neighbors with a photo of your cat and a phone number where they can reach you. Ask them to give you a call if they see / find her, and perhaps ask them to put food out for her if she's spotted, as she will probably be hungry and it might keep her around. Also check your local pound / spca to see if she has arleady been found.

If it was one of her first times leaving... maybe she met some territorial cat and got into a fight?

call animal control and find the cat.
then if she reacts in a weird manner, go to a vet.

Put posters up, offer rewards, etc. Not sure what your actual question is though...
