If I stopped eating saturated and trans fats, would the fat I've eaten stay in my arteries forever or does it eventually dissolve or something? And how does exercise have any effect on the fat content in your arteries, I never understood that.

No, if you stopped eating trans/saturated fats, your body would break what you currently have down. You can do this by eating monounsaturated fats and by exercising.

once you make new fat cells they never go away. When a fat cell or lipid is formed is fill up with fat untill that cell can no longer fill up then it forms two new ones. Sadly you can never get rid of these cells comepletly, except for lyposuction, what you can do is drain them of the fat substance, and used diet and excersize to make sure they d onot fill back up.........
