This is disgusting that this could happen to a ""16 year old BOY"" THANK God somebody in AZ had a shred of common sense and the boy wasn't labeled as a sex offender for the rest of is life. What in the hell is this country coming to???? GEEEZZZZZZ he is a 16 year old BOY!!!!!!

Nothing changes the fact that there WAS child porn on that computer. I really don't buy that "back door" excuse where people say that the images were downloaded remotely by someone else and that they were completely unaware.
"Dirty pictures" of children as you describe them are photos of deeply traumatized victims of terrible people. People who look at and download child porn only contribute to the traumatization of these children.
In Canada the maximum jail sentence for a person under from 12 to17yrs. is ten years (and that's for murder).

You seem to have missed the point of the story. The kid apparently did NOT look at any KID porn pics.

It's OK he will be out in 30 years with good behavior.. and just think he will be able to see. you know what they say about boys playing with porno.. they a doing him a favor....
