You know the routine. Only eat when you're absolutely hungry, try to drink 6-8 glasses of water a day, excercise regularly to keep you metabolism going.
Sorry, but it's unlikely to loose a pound a day with even the bes diets, unless you become anerexic, which wouldn't be a very good choice :).

I don't have a diet, but I have a recipie! It is healthy and can make you lose weight! A good easy, healthy recipie the you can make at home is Seasoned Rigatoni
Ingredients:
Rigatoni Pasta
Almound Slices
Seasoned Croutons
Olive Oil
Roasted Red Peppers (You can but them in a jar.)
Cook your Rigatoni pasta for 15 min. Meanwhile, take out a frying pan and heat. Pour some olive oil on it and lightly fry your almond slices. They cook quickly so watch them the entire time. When they are done, put them in a food processor with your seasoned croutons from the store. Place into a large bowl. Slice up some roasted red peppers. When the Rigatoni is complete, put it into the bowl with you bits of almond and croutons. through in the red peppers and mix it all together for the perfect and inexpensive meal. (Does well as left overs too!)

Wow. DON'T go to curves. I worked there for 3 years, and it's the biggest ripoff ever. Have you thought about weight watchers? It really works, and you can still eat pretty much anything, just smaller portions. Good luck! (I'll spare you the talk about how it's unhealthy to lose more than 2 pounds a week. I lost five pounds last week and no one got onto me...)

The Lemonade diet.
Recipe:
The below recipe make 60 oz of "lemonade", enough for 6 to 10 oz glasses. Although your requirements may be different than mine. Please read the book to determine your needs. 60 oz is sufficient for a "reduction" cleanse.
60 oz water per day (or 10 oz per glass) -- I use Crystal Geyser Spring Water.
12 tablespoons Organic Grade B Maple Syrup (or 2 tbsp. per glass)
12 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice (or 2 tbsp. per glass)
a little over half a teaspoon of cayenne pepper (or 1/10 tsp. per glass) or to taste
