I would think he watches her and 'gazes' at her if he likes her but is too shy to do anything.

He acts shy. He will do whatever he can to not let on that he likes her at all. He might slip up a little...look at her a couple seconds too long or walk around nearby her. Chances are you would not be able to tell.

try the following things in order to make his feelings come out of his heart.
1)ask his best friend
2)flirt with his best friend and see his reaction
3)leave a " I LOVE U" note in his bag or locker
4)stare into his eyes and pass a smile and study his face
5)ask him directly
6)indicate that u do care/love him...and try to catch same love/caring signals from him..
this will work out as i have advised many girls all these tips. hope it is a help for u. do tell me if it works. hope u get the best man in the world. i think i do deserve 10 points for this answer

of a guy is shy wen he gets to kno u betta n if he likes you in dat way he wnt be shy around u . he'll have confidence in you. give him some time to get to kno u

He might stare at you when you're not looking,try to be around you, if people are saying negative things about you he might say leave her alone.
