And there was a whole tore in the plastic wrap then you cook them a day later, is it safe? They were in the fridge when my two year old tore a whole in the pack,could they have gone bad because of the whole, or does that realy matter?

they should be fine,juss smell and look for an discoulor,
if it smells fine and it has the same couloration then they should be perfectly fine and edable

You will have no problems, they will last for several days. By ageing them it will improve there flavour.
Just make sure to cook them properly, pork should be cooked through, never rare.

When I was a boy we had a meat safe where mother would store 2 or 3 days meat.
We didn't have refrigerators in those days

It's doubtful there was any contamination, and if there was any, it was cooked out when you prepared it for dinner! Unless of coarse, your two year old had contamination on his hands, such as the type that could come from a diaper.

YOU DON'T HAVE TO WORRY, THE MEAT IS STILL GOOD NOTHING HAPPENED.
