I have an orange tree. The oranges taste sour, but i have so many of them. What can I do with them? any ideas?

marmalade if you feel like taking the time. it requires sour oranges and a whole bunch of sugar.. but there is NOTHING like home made marmalade

The answer to your question is that the oranges are not ripe yet. I have the same problem. Oranges are the one fruit that once picked they stop ripening. I would give them a couple of weeks. Next season place pine needles at the base of the tree it will give the oranges the acid that they need.

You can put them in the garbage disposal about 2 times a week and it will keep your kitchen smelling great> You can also zest them and put them in some of your favorite food dishes. If you don't have a garbage disposal give them to someone you know with a disosal. They also give off great scents if you pop them into the microwave for 15 secs. or so. But don't keep them for to long.

Make Marmalade jam out of them

Run them through a juicer and make cocktails with the juice.
