Try taking multi-vitamins like GNC's Mega Man Sport. I'm 35, and the nutrients in these things keep my metabolism pumped. Downside is that these pills are BIG. I was almost afraid of choking on them when I first took them. Drink a LOT of water down during your daily dose (2 pills. Take one at a time!!)

Have you stopped working out or changed your routine. You might have been walking across campus and now your getting a ride. Some soups are very fattening and salad dressing has a lot of fat. I have had friends that started gaining weight and they had thyroid problems but that is usually like a 20lb weight gain. Maybe your metabolism has started to change. Eat healthy, work out, and keep your calories at a healthy amount for your height. Good luck.

when you stop eating your body goes into an emergency rescue mode that when you eat anything at all you actually gain more weight because your body stores the fat. So instead eat like you did and excersize. but I think your at a weight that you shouldn't lose anymore..a healthy weight is at least 130.

Try to get regular exercise. I don't know how old you are, but if you're a teenager, it might just be because you're growing up and your body is changing. You just need to know that you need to be active. For every hour you're sitting down try to get at least half an hour of activity.

You're probably not eating enough, so your body's hanging on to any fat stores you have. You don't have to starve yourself to lose weight. Actually, starving yourself rarely works anyway. If you're looking for ideas for a sensible diet, try Weight Watchers. I love it.

PS. Drinking lots of fresh water helps too!

Here are some questions to ask yourself:

- have your stress levels changed
- have your activity levels changed
- have you been drinking more high calorie sodas
- have you been eating at other times of the day when you didn't usually eat
- have you started/stopped or changed any medicines

Fluctuation of a few pounds is not abnormal. You are 17 your body may still be changing. If you are really worried about it see your Doc possibly to refer you to an endocrinologist.
