When my sister & I were growing up someone from the government told my sister that they would deport her. We are legally Americans, born & raised here as was all are family before us. What gives the government the right to threaten a child like that?

She was about 12 yrs old. She hadn't done anything wrong. The cop got mad at her because she told him she didn't know where my bestfriend was who had runaway from home. I was there when he said it.

Just from the example that you gave about the police officer coming to talk to you trying to find a runaway - my guess would be that they were trying anything that they could so that they could find the child (scare tactics).

Considering what happens to many runaways - I don't agree with what the officer did, but I can understand where they were coming from.

the government claims it might desire to by no ability deport the 12 to twenty million unlawful aliens (no longer "immigrants", no longer "workers") through fact huge corporation makes billions via exploiting the so-stated as "decrease priced" remote places hard work. huge corporation will pay for political campaigns and so "there is not any thank you to deport them". Even the president, our national Knucklehead, certainly has made the declare that by some ability we choose criminal aliens to "do the jobs no American will do." What a horrendous lie. There are no longer any jobs human beings won't do; in basic terms jobs they gained't do for slave wages. If the government needed to flush the unlawful alien bathroom, all it might ought to do is enforce latest employment regulations and deny all government advantages to unlawful aliens. Lock up some dozen CEOs and lazy blue collar slobs and the country will take be conscious. decrease off the welfare and nutrition stamps and p.c.. and Maria would be wading lower back around the Rio Grande as quickly as they are in a position to. end of tale.

That wasn't 'the government' it was just an idiot who managed to get a badge and keep it long enough to insult your sister.

He probably had trouble at some point in his career, with an attitude like that.

If you are an American citizen then you cannot be deported unless you are stripped of your citizenship.

That doesn't make any sense. Your parents must have lied to you about you being legal Americans.
