Of course. Have you found a way to escape it? It is constantly imposed on us.

I'm an atheist and I quite like listening to the Jars of Clay. They're a Christian rock band for those who don't know them.

Of course, I also like the Rolling Stones 'sympathy for the devil'...

An atheist can listen to whatever the hell they want. Its not a religion. Just a lack of one, really. I don't care what inspires an artist as long as they produce good work.

Of course they can. I'm Christian, but listen to Jewish music. Islam doesn't use music in their theology and there's no such thing as an Islamic music industry. But I do listen to Arabic music and love it. Atheists can listen to everything without guilt. Who's going to judge them?

Yep. It's just music, what matters is our faith in the heart.

As a Muslim, I enjoy some Christian songs, the guitar songs are really nice to listen and play. Other than that I see the quality of loving and glorifying one's God is admirable.

funny question. music is prohibited in orthodox islam. the usage of musical instruments is considered as "HARAM" or sinful!!! however, the majority of muslims enjoy all kinds of music. am not sure about christian music though. i guess christian music stems from alternative/rock/indie music. so i dont see why jews or muslims would want ot lsiten to it! why not just listen to regular tunes since both muslims and JEWS do not believe that JESUS is the son of GOD but rather a prophet...like mohamad and moses and ibrahim.

Why would they WANT to listen to Christian music? I can't imagine how anyone could listen to that stuff for more than 30 seconds without getting sick. That said, of course they're allowed. Why wouldn't they be?

Certainly they are allowed. I am an atheist who was a member of a chamber choir--we performed almost exclusively chants and music that was religious in nature. We even performed in some cathedrals when we were in Ireland! Music is art, and art is for everybody.

Allowed? I hope they do listen to Christian music.

Allowed to? By who? And why would we want to? Most modern Christian music sucks! I do like the early black gospel music, though.
