So my cat just attacked a poor little sparrow...the bird is still alive and my cat is inside....my friend and i got the bird into a box, but it flew out....we are very worried...i there anything or anyone that we can call for the help of this poor little soul?

The bird really needs to get to a rehabber quickly. Cat attacks are always a serious issue for wildlife. Cat saliva contains a number of harmful bacteria and even a seemingly unimportant scratch can lead to the birds death.

On another note you may want to consider having an indoor cat, the wildlife in your area will be grateful. Not to mention it's also safer for the cat.

Try and find the bird if you can, Call a wildlife rehab group. To find one in your State google Department of Fish and Game or the Federal Department of Fish and Wildlife. If it flew away outside unfortunately trying to find it again will be impossible. If it is your house catch it and put it into a secure box with a lid, and contact a rehab. If it's able to fly, he/she should be okay. If the bird is indoors, open a door and let it fly out. If it's already outside, the bird is probably a little stunned, but will recover. Maybe put a collar with a bell on your cat in the future to help warn birds.

if it can fly it should be able to okay after a while but if you are really worried then i would call a vet or wildlife resuce

try to find it if posssible TAKE IT TO THE ANIMAL SHELTER or animal hospital and if ou cant find it im sure it will be ok
