You'd know what I meant if you knew "the secret". I'm just learning about it.

I assume you're talking about Oprah Winfrey's show on February 8th about "The Secret".
It's not really a secret.. the laws of attraction have been around for a very long time, and are part of neo-pagan belief, among others.
For those interested in reading about the show.. here's a link

1. I was always disobedient. God taught me the value of obedience. You tell a child fire burns. It tests if it is true. It suffers terribly from pain and learns the 'value' of obedience. (Understanding) 2. God taught me the value of trust. There was a general awareness among people that God exists. People told each other. People didn't trust what the other was saying is true. They didn't trust that there was value in obedience. They disobeyed. They suffered and learnt the value of trust. (Come "to know") 3. When they see the truth of the above two points they say they "Can now see". 4. The difference is that they will be happy, thankful and pleased to obey. 5 Knowing is really understanding. If you think there is an idea in your mind (like so called 'facts') it is not really knowing. If you know the FULL VALUE of that fact i.e. UNDERSTANDING - THEN IT IS KNOWING. It comes from an appreciation of the above four 'facts'. I SHOULD THANK YOU !!!

"The Secret" is a bunch of whooie! Don't waste your money on the DVD. Obviously a positive attitude will enable you to go a lot further in life then a negative one. But to sit back and "think" positive thoughts... like "i'm sure there will be a check waiting in the mailbox for me today" is just ridiculous. You'll get what's on the way. If its a check, its a check: if its bills, its bills! Hard work and determination is the secret to making it in life, not some flighty nubulitic DVD.

I have to agree with the earlier post, the laws of attraction have been around a while.

But if this resonates with you, I would also suggest watching "What the Bleep do we know?", as it is along similar lines. But remember, when watching both of these shows, that they're talking about only a PART of what we actually understand (which, in itself, isn't a lot) about quantum physics, but they make it sound as if it's everything. If you read/watch these shows, and want to know more about quantum physics, there's info out there, though it may take some time to understand. I'm still working on that, so good luck to ya!

I bought the dvd if thats what you mean. it is directed very good, and the success stories sound very promising. I just put the stuff they talked about into action, and I do feel alot better about things already. The dvd is very uplifting too. They cover almost everything you would ever think about, and more. I definentely learned ALOT from it, and it will take some time to "test" it. If anyone else has bought it and "tested" it, please post your reactions/stories. I would be very happy to hear from other users of it. I borrowed "what the bleep do we know", which I heard is really good, so I hope I can make some changes to my life so it works out better. Its definentely not some phoney bologna advertising stuff.

I know a number of secrets, but I don't tell them to anyone. That's how they remain secrets.

I can't tell, it is after all a secret. If you actually knew "the secret," it would no longer be a secret and it's secrecy would be irrelevant.
