I like Royal Energy Tea by Bee Royal Products. It is green tea (natural caffeine) bee pollen (highest source of natural B vitamins to stabilize blood sugar levels which leads to longer lasting energy), freeze dried raw honey (for more energy). If you like green tea you will love this tea. This combination will not drop you like the Red Bull.

Worked many years of nights. The only thing that helped me was moving around. If you can't move from your post then jog or walk in place. I knew a doctor who when he had to work a day shift after a night one would go out and jog a few miles.
Caffeine always took me up and brought me down in a few hours. Made everything worse and I drove people crazy with my constant chattering.
Doing something exciting can help like playing a riveting video game. But I wouldn't want to stay up on night just to play a game. The game will be there in the morning.
How about getting a few Yahoo! Answer accounts and doing that.

Red Bull may keep you energized for about the first hour of your shift and then you're gonna come down off the caffeine and be more tired than normal. You're supposed to eat protein later in the day so eat meat or have a protein shake. Drink water (water keeps you awake for longer than caffeine does) Fruits are also good too because they have lots of vitamins that will keep you awake.

I work a lot of overnights. I stay up by bringing things to keep me busy (luckily I don't have many responsibilities at my overnight job). I also try to nap in the early evening before going in. I then have a late dinner. I eat at 9:00pm because I have to leave at 9:30pm. I also bring candy with me. Sometimes jolly ranchers, other times sour patch kids. I drink a cup of coffee right when I get in, and then again if I start getting sleepy. Finally I take my brain pill (Concerta) in the evening instead of the morning.

Actually to stay up all night, energy drinks, coffe, caffine, and other things like that won't really work. They only keep you up for about an hour and then when it's done, you're more tired! The best way is to eat a lot of healthy foods and exercise, it keeps your brain awake all day, and night!

1. GO DIET COKE!!! CAFFIENE HELPS ME WITH AN ALL NIGHTER.
2. Play loud music. It doesn't let your brain slip on the job- just make sure it isn't too loud so it breaks your concentration.
3. Keep the lights on. It really helps- cuase you can't dose off if it is too bright.
4. IF you have good concentration skills, try watching a tv show at the same time. Well, I do cause i am a multi tasker.
Hope this helps

An engineer I know swears by this: Take a caffeine pill, grind it into powder, and mix with a jug of Gatorade. This helps maintain hydration (important for alertness) and is better than sugary drinks, which will make you sleepy.

Avoid sugary drinks because you'll peak and then crash. The best thing for you is getting enogh sleep. What I did was try to take a nap after a "weekend" to help with the first night back. I don't miss those days at all.

Ya know funny questing i was having a very similar thing not to long ago. And i discovered ADVOCARE. I don't sell it and this isn't an advertisement. But their "spark" energy drink is GREAT. Not only does it keep you awake, but also focused and alert. You can find the stuff cheaper on eBay than the advocare site.

Go Low Carb
Living a low carb lifestyle will totally reduce how much sleep you need and give you a steady burn all day or night.
At least avoid any carbs the two meals before you are going to be doing an all nighter.
