If I were to hula hoop for about twenty minutes a day will it help get rid of my stomach. I only weigh 130 and I am 5'6'', so I'm not overweight, my stomach is just a little bigger than I want it. Will this help? Also do I have to follow any kind of diet?

Any activity will help.

But, you may have to watch that you don't eat more - you need to reduce overall calories in to calories out.

Often, women need to do both to lose weight - but if you are just looking to trim up - the exercise alone will help.

It is exercise so it will help but there is no way to lose weight just in a certain area. You will lose it from all over your body. Doing abdominal exercises will give you more muscles in the tummy area so you can control the look of your belly.
