i met this guy a month ago who i really started to fall for, all last week i was walking on air, then at weekend i got rather drunk with him and my personality changed as i started to be cocky with the alcohol, now hes not interested and i dont blame him, ive told him how sorry i am and it wont happen again but he gives me the cold shoulder, im gutted and ashamed of myself, how can i make him like me again without looking desparate ?

Maybe it would be a good lesson to be learned. If alcohol can change your personality for the worse, then when you are in the company of someone you really care about, think twice about drinking too much. On the other hand. If this guy really had the same feelings for you as you had for him, then I doubt that this would have put him off of you. The fact that he won't even give you another chance tells me that he's not really that bothered. Ask yourself this question - would you have given him another chance, a chance to prove himself. Learn a valuable lesson from this, move on and find another guy that will love you for you, even if you do have the odd little drink. After all, none of us are perfect. Best of luck in the future.

What's he like when he's had a few? Most people change with alcohol and if it takes that little to put him off he's not worth your time! Are you willing to give up drinking for him? He needs to understand that personalities can be altered by alcohol, especially if a person's nervous; if you've explained this to him and he doesn't have the decency to even discuss it then forget him, you can do better! Don't be ashamed of yourself, just learn from it and move on.

u can't take it bac. but think about it this way. we all make mistakes if this guy can't forgive u for one mistake even though u r sorry y do u wanna be wid a guy like him. we all make mistake n should all be given a second chance to make them betta, if u r not given a second chance then how cn u improve on the mistake? the answer: u can't. u r betta of without this guy. u go girl!
if he gives u the cold shoulder u should play it cool n give him the cold shoulder. go out n find a guy that really likes u for yourself. mistakes n all. best of luck hope this helps lol

You've already done it and told him you were sorry. That's about all you can do. Don't push it. Maybe he's not worth all that, since he is giving you the cold shoulder already. You can never take back what you've done, just let go of it and get on with life. We all make mistakes and this will not be your last.

First of all you cant change or take back anything that you have already done. I would try to let it cool over and leave him alone for a while. You cant really change how someone is going to feel about you. Let him take a break and if he wants to have a relationship he will come too you... Good Luck!!!

You can't. Think about if the table was turned. Wouldn't you give him the cold shoulder? He now saw how you act when you get alcohol in your system and maybe he is choosing not to deal with that. You can't blame him and you have to accept his wishes of not talking to you.

You can't change the past, but you can learn from your mistakes. Actions always speak louder than words -- and you can show him how sorry you are more than you can tell him. If you really are trying to make improvements and he still doesn't want anything to do with you, then keep on moving. The most important thing is to keep growing and learning.

next time u see him out, make sure u are sober. if u like him enough, ull give up one night of being hammered so he can see that u are sorry. try to find out why u were being so cocky, and save being wasted for wen ur not around him. send him a cute text, like telling him u miss him. and if he still doesnt come around and be a little warmer towards u..drop it and move on.

dont do a thing; anything you do, will make you desparate. just say you're sorry for what happened, blame it on the booze then leave it. it may take a week, if he's a nice guy; he'll come back.

Im sorry to say it, but I think nothing will work. The way he sees it now is, you have shown your true colours....even if deep down that isnt what you are really like. You have given him a bad impression.
