would you think he was turning gay or would you think it was cute and that he would be a good father one day, or would you think nothing. Would you let him play with it, or would you take it away from him?

Just let him play with it...I really have to laugh at people that think just because their son was playing with a doll that they are going to be gay. LEt him play.

It does not mean that they are turning gay. It could mean that he is going to be a good father one day, and it is cute.

Of course you should let him play with it, it's proven that if little boys are not allowed to play with dolls when they are little then they are more likely to actually be gay when they are older because you didn't let them play with them and explore their femininity when they were little.

My brother whom is now 16 used to play dolls, barbies, and dress up with me and he is definitely not gay.

I would not be concerned he had homosexual tendencies just because he's playing with a doll. If it's a Barbie doll you might want to buy him a GI Joe, Power Rangers, or Ninja Turtles. If it's a baby doll I wouldn't be concerned at all - when my son was younger he played house with his 2 sisters - he was the Daddy and played with the babies - it's no big deal.

Both of my brothers played with dolls as do my sons and i don't think it makes them gay by any means. After all they are just kids and if they do grow up to be gay then so what its not the end of the world and as long as they are happy i don't see anything wrong with it.

Let him play with it. As long as you are not encouraging it either way, you are not being bias. My brother played with dolls, and he has grown up to be a wonderful father.

Babies learn by watching you. This means you're a good Mom. It has nothing to do with whether or not he is gay. I would let him play with it, there is no harm in that. Just tell him what a good Daddy he'll be one day. They love it when they hear that!

depends on the age, if he's 2-8 I don't think there is much of a worry. A toy is a toy is a toy. Now if he's 10 or over I'd get a little worried, if he's older than 15 then start worrying.

I would let him play with it just like I let my daughters play with legos and cars. My sister-in-law had this problem this christmas. My nephew wanted twin dolls anmd her husband said no way. But here is the thing he loves them... Santa brought them because that is all he wanted. They are boy twins and he brings them everywhere. He kisses them and feeds them. Why would you want to tell a boy that caring for his family is bad. They are his babies and he is taking care of them. I think people need to loosen up. They are toys and toys do not determine who you will want to marry when you are an adult!

Let him play. One of my sons loved barbie's. He even asked for one for his 4th bday. I gave it to him. He's nine now and a boy for sure. when he was much younger he like having his nails painted and barrettes in his hair. I hope that my letting it be okay sets him up to be a sensitive kind hearted man as he gets older. At this age now he's great with babies. I sign of good things to come, I hope.
