The Bible does say to love one another. The Bible does not say to do things or to tolerate practices that violate the laws God has set forth in the Bible. As far as ethnicity, the Bible says that all nations would be gathered before the throne. It also says that God is not partial to any race. Remember when Miriam was stricken with leprosy in the Old Testament because she was racist against Moses' wife from the land of Cush? This shows that God does not put up with racist attitudes! Nor should we. It does not matter where a person came from but it does matter where he or she is going! For we were called out of the world to be apart from the sinful world of mankind. God desires all to attain salvation through His son, Jesus! If you are a son or a daughter of the Most High God what should it matter what color you are or where you came from? A child of the King is a child of the King! Christ died for all men (and women) so we all may have equal access to eternal life! This does not mean that it is OK to accept other practices that the Bible warns us is sin. We are to stay away from these things because the world is practicing them and we are to remain separate from the world as Christ did! The Bible has a very clear set of instructions and we must follow them.

AAAHH,,,sorry, I'm an atheist, but only an idiot would think that Islam doesn't preach intolerance, bias against other religions and lifestyles and ethnicities.... Since Islam hate Judaism and Christianity with equal hated passion, I think Islam trumps Christianity in the bias department....
especially when your prophet actually tells you to kill those who refuse to convert.

But over there in many countries in the middle east they actually have their religion run the government and execute and punish severely those who do not fit with their backround/religion/ethnicity,
and they actually DO carry out Old testament punishments for crimes which don't deserve it, like stoning women to death for 'fornication' or other 'crimes'.....
and ah, yeah, they actually kill homosexuals.

For the same reasons that SOME people of any other religion/belief or lack of belief, do. If you read through the answers on here you will find, intolerance, ignorance, bias, racism, every form of hate you can think of, and it doesn't just come from the Christians.

Yes, but if you accept and respect other religions than many people will accept the possibilities that those other religions could be right. Then you lose followers. You have to preach intolerance if you are serious about keeping your customers . . . uh . . . er . . . followers.

Atheism seems to be broken into various camps, notably, people who basically do no longer choose for to handle faith and people who actively communicate against faith. For the main area it form of feels majority of atheists are happy as long as theists are quiet besides. There are people who disagree, which includes Richard Dawkins -- at times stated as Darwin's Rottweiler (after Huxley's call of Darwin's Bulldog). As to the prayer and separation of church and state: A "wall of separation" as Jefferson termed it would not advise eliminate God from society as an entire. Theists are secure below some thing stated as the 1st substitute. Separation of Church and State basically objectives to eliminate God as a foundation for criminal action, as this is not any longer compulsive to a unfastened judiciary, and it objectives to maintain government from infringing on ANY faith; the 1st substitute additionally has some thing wide-unfold simply by fact the corporation clause (congress shall make no regulation respecting the corporation of a faith). Theists are nevertheless allowed to choose at school so long because it would not harm different scholars, and it relatively is very own NON-CLASSTIME. Theists are no longer allowed to apply MY time as their very own prayer time in the process the college, as supported via the landmark 1962 case, Engel v Vitale.

Christians preach intolerance/bias against other religions and lifestyles because God spoke against them.

First of all, let's clarify some things. The Bible speaks about love. 1 John 4:7-8 states, "Beloved, let us love one another: For love is of God; and everyone that loveth is born of God and knoweth God. He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love." 1 Corinthians 13: 4-7, some translations state "charity" instead of love, states, "Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh not evil; rejoiceth not in inquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things."

Though, God is love, God never spoke of tolerance of anything considered sinful. You asked, doesn't the bible preach love, tolerance, and acceptance of your neighbor regardless of their background/relgion/ethnicity? It's true that God is not a respector of persons (Acts 10:.34-35), that is accepting one nationality over another, but God is not tolerant and man looks at tolerance, and doesn't accept anyone's wrongdoing, but is patient with us, not willing for anyone to perish, but for all to come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). God loves the murderers, but not their deeds. God loves the homosexuals, but not their deeds. God looks at all sin the same and will condemn all sin the same. Man preaches to accept homosexuality as an alternate lifestyle, as well as promoting same sex marriages, which God abhors. Man measures wrongdoing by differing degrees. The constitution states "freedom of religion," meaning that you're free to practice whatever religion that you wish, while God says, "There is one Lord, one faith, one baptism (Ephesians 4:4-6)." The bible even warns about false doctrines and the consequences of those who dare to preach them (Galatians 1:6-9; 1 Timothy 4:1-8; 2 Timothy 4:1-4). Jesus stated that he would establish his church (Matthew 16:18), not many. Jesus' church was established on the Day of Pentecost (Acts 2) and about three thousand souls were added after Peter preached the first gospel sermon (Acts 2:14-42). This is the only church Jesus promised to save when he returns.

Christians are not told to accept just anything and everything because it would be considered "politically correct." Christians are not to be politically correct, but spiritually and, especially, scripturally correct. That's most important! We are to be followers of the doctrine of Christ (2 John 9) and not to be politicaly correct, condoners of gay marriages or the gay lifestyle, racism of any sort, or indulging every ill wind of doctrine present (Ephesians 4:14-16). Christians are to do the will of God (Matthew 7:21-23), above all things.

You are making quite a generalization. I don't know specifically what you're talking about so I can't really comment on it. The bible teaches there is one way to the Father, and that is by the son. Sure, others have the right to disbelieve. That doesn't mean a Christian will agree there are any other ways to God.

Other than that, I'm not sure what you're referring to.

Ethnicity yes. religions no. Lifestyles no.
We can love the sinner and not the sin.
Jesus said, "I am the way the truth and the life, no one comes to the father except through me"
How could we accept any religion that doesn't claim this truth?
Of course we should be respectful to everyone for God loves them as much as he loves us.

The Bible of The True Christian Faith dose indeed teach Love... but it dose not teach acceptance of teaching contrary to the Word of God.... Christians are not to innitiate any hostile action against any one... but we are allowed to defend ourselves... and there are "religions" that are sworn enemies of Christians... we may take apropeiate action against them... espacialy when they vow to kill us and others as well. You will not see any True Christian demonstrating against a Budist... but you will see Christians taking up arms to defend against those sworn to kill us.

as to other "lifestyles"... if those "lifestyles" keep anyone from learning The Truth of The Salvation Message,
Then we do take a positon in oposition to the actions that keep people from The Truth... This dose not include the initiation of hostile physical action... but again, if hostile physical action is taken against us then we may defend in any manner necessary to defend ourselves...as to ehnicity... the same general position applies... but if a group wishes to remain seperate and practice their own ethnisity...without demanding others surrender their rights...or demanding that others submit to their practices...then they are free to go on about their ways... even if it means they will be eternaly seperated from God.
