My hair is really fine since some hormone problems a few years ago and compounded by hair loss and regrowth since having a baby. I have it shoulder length, but have stupid little wispy bits everywhere around the fringe.

Anyway - where would you go to get really good advise about a hair cut? I talk to my hairdresser, but he just cuts it the same way anyhow!!

I talk to my hairdresser and last time he did cut it a bit differently, but then I get all pleased w how it looks in the salon and the next day it looks rubbish again. I almost never have time to do more than wash it and run, so it's no use asking how to style it properly and I just get tangled up when I try really...

First, get a new hairdresser. Next, I would recommend that you go to a high-end salon and get the best stylist you can afford. Consult with him/her to find out the best haircut for your face and hair type. (Go in with a few ideas yourself to help).

Once you have your pricey haircut then take a bunch of good photos from every angle. Then the next time you want it cut you can go to a competent stylist, show them the pictures and say 'I want that.'

At the very least, go to a new stylist.

Here's how to go about it:

1) Go to a men's barbershop.

2) Sit down in the chair.

3) Tell the barber, "Buzz it all off!"

go to a different hair dresser. Bring a picture of you want and thoroughly explain what you want. Your paying for the haircut, you should be able to get what you want.
