First you have to find common denominators. The easiest way to find common denominators is find if one is a multiple of the other, or they have common factors, If that doesn't work you can multiply them together. For your first example, if you notice that 6*2 is 12 great! then you can make your first fraction and second fraction have common denominators. If not, you can multiply 6*12 and make your fraction over 72. Not as nice to work with, but certainly valid. 1/6 + 1/12 = 1/m 2/12 + 1/12 = 1/m 3/12 = 1/m Now you want to reduce your fraction. You can divide both numbers by 3, so you get: 1/4 = 1/m Therefore m = 4 In the second problem you'll want to rearrange the equation so that you get the same form as the first equation, with the 1/y on one side, and the rest on the other side. 1/y = 1/6 - 1/15 You can multiply the two denominators together to get 90, but if you notice that both 6 and 15 go into 30, then you're set. multiply 1/6 by 5/5 and multiply 1/15 by 2/2 1/y = 5/30 - 2/30 1/y = 3/30 Now you want to reduce the fraction on the right. Notice both can be divided by 3 1/y = 1/10 Therefore y = 10 Hope this helps Cheers

You might need to install the audio drivers. A software to help your computer communicate to your sound card. You can do this by going to the manucfactures web site and downloading the software. for example if is a dell machine you can go to www.dell.com > support and search for drivers under your computer model.

It means your sound card drivers are not installed.
Check your device manager to see if that is it, and re-install the drivers.
