I really like this guy and he likes me. Hes admitted that, but he says that im not the type of girl that he would go out with at this time in his life. He said he would have gone out with me 2 or 3 years ago like he did. I dont understand how he can say that when he gets mad at my ex whenever my ex makes me upset, he comforts me when ever he does something stupid. at the beginning of our affair i tod him i only wanted to have fun, but my feelings have changed and he says they arent reciprocated. Is there any way that i can make him see that we would be really good together? we have tons of fun whenever we are out, the sex is great, so many of our friends say we should have been together for years, and hes an amazing guy. Anyone have any suggestions to help my dilemna?

This guy is not at the right place for your right now. My suggestion is to tell him that you are not seeing him anymore; that you are moving on because you want a committed relationship because you want to get married and have a family. If this guy really has feelings for you, he will indicate that to you when you tell him that. You threw the ball in his lap; and it is his time to come to terms with the state of your relationship. Do you want to stay uncommitted in limbo forever? If you do, then stay with him; if you want to let him know that you are going to move on because you feel that the relationship is not going anywhere, then tell him right out! Never mind how amazing he is; aren't you amazing? You are having a sexual relationship with him and that is clouding your mind; its not clouding his; why should he rock the boat. Don't be afraid to confront him; he will respect you in the long run. You may not hear from him for a while, but if he really cares; he will rekindle the relationship. But, do not under any circumstances accept him without a COMMITTMENT. If he refuses, tell him it would have been nice, but you are moving on. Do you want to be always a bridesmaid and never a bride? Show him you are a strong woman and not a wimp. He will see you with different eyes, I assure you.
Good Luck to you in your dilemma.

He's not into the relationship the same way you are, and you probably can't change that. You need to decide if you can be with someone who doesn't feel the same way you do, or start over with someone else.
