I need to make diameter(ø) and (±) signs in excel. Is there any list i can use for quick ref. for symbols that excel has?

Symbols you can use in any program you can use in Excel.
It is the same, you just need how to use it
Hold down the ALT key, then in the right keypad in your keyboard, press 0177 , release the Alt and you got ±
this is 177, found in the place given to you be answerer number one

Start -> Programs -> Accessories -> System Tools -> Character map. This will show you all the fonts and their characters that are installed on your computer.

Go to "Insert" and then click "Symbol" and find the symbol you want to use.
