first and foremost, all conventional energy are non reneawable one ie., limited natue.

Secondly increasing energy crisis to meet the increasing human population.

thirdly conventional enegy sources are producing much pollution.

so we have to look necessarily on the non-conventional energy resource that should be a reneawable one, non polluting and cheaply availavle in plenty.

standard components tend to be those recent in a severe concentrated means (nuclear/chemical) interior the earth crust (e.g. coal, oil, gas, uranium, etc.). great hydro means is seen as standard because it relatively is in use for already a minimum of a century. A SUSTAINABLE source of means is a source of means which isn't depleted on a human scale (tens of millions of years). this would be a definition difficulty as some geothermal components would be depleted in some very localized aspects. it is likewise a difficulty for uranium considering we do no longer relatively understand how plenty shall we use in an financial workable way interior the destiny A renewable source of means that's certainly replenished and is purely no longer depleted interior the very long term: - geothermal means (from the organic radioactive decay interior the earth´s crust) - gravity interraction (tides) - solar (direct radiation, waves, wind, ocean present day, biomass, etc.)

Well, for starters, they are non-polluting--and don't add CO2 to the atmosphere.

For another, although the up-front cost is substantial, the operating cost of these systems (especially solar and wind) are much lower--they are cheaper in the long run.

The truth--that the fossil fuel industry is desperately trying to distract people from realizing--is that oil and coal, besides bein gbad for the environment, are EXPENSIVE. Because once people get that fact through their heads, the oil industry and the coal industry will become industries in decline.

Glocal warming and diminsihing fossil fuel reserves which should only be used sparingly on necessary applications. Such as the formation of specialist plastics.

Because they have very low or even non-existent running costs and prodice no pollution.

Imagine being able to produce energy without having to pay for fuel. If you have any business sense you can see the advantages even if you have no concern for the environment.

Yes we should, for two massive reasons:

1) It will reduce the amount of carbon in the atmosphere and therefore help save the planet from global warming

2) It will reduce our dependency on oil from unstable regimes like Venezuela, Iraq, Russia and many other Middle Eastern countries.

Any policy that kills those two birds with the same stone must be worth pursuing.

If we don't start now, there won't be much hope for us when the current energy supplies we are using run out.

Plus, surely you've heard of global warming... We may not be able to stop it entirely, but at least we can lessen the effects if everyone works together.

it is high time that v start conserving the energy of earth...the rash human activities r rapidly depleting most of earth's resources like forests, fossil fuels, etc.....most of them r non renewable....by usin non conventional sources of energy at least v can try n save the end of the world!

we should not conserve energy. when you conserve energy the cost per kilowatt increases leading to an increase in rates. the more you save the higher the cost. so to keep costs low use all the power you can.

Certainly! They are naturally renewed resources! When the oil runs out(it is finite)all we'll have left is nuclear,at our current state of development.:-(=
