that depends on where you live. See aa.usno.navy.mil to get specific data for your location.

NYC will have its longest days June 20 and 21st of 2007 with civil twilight at 4:51AM, Sunrise at 5:24 AM, Sunset at 8:30PM and Civil Twilight at 9:04PM. that's 15 hours and 7 minutes of daylight.

That depends upon your latitude.

At the north pole, the sun stays below the horizon for 179 days, centered around the solstice. It stays dark until approximately the vernal equinox.

At the equator, there is 12 hours of daylight year-round, so no difference.

The days get longer slowly at first and then around the first day of spring the days get longer fastest and then slow down again until June 21 when they finally reach the longest day and slowly begin to get shorter again.
