If you do dye it dye the roots then put some streaks of dye into the rest of the of the hair, other wise the gold bits will go even lighter and then you will have the a different colour hair but the the same problem. P.S. Ask a hairdresser.

your dark roots will accept the colour differently. if you use bleach all over your already blond length will get lighter and your dark roots will never catch up - the other way round if you dye it darker, the lengths will absorb the colour differently to your roots. Been there and done that :-)
If you are happy with your overall colour go to a good drugstore and find some kind of root-touch-up product for blond hair which matches your colour.
This way you protect your lengths from drying out.

It really depends on the color that you use. You can get a close match via Herbal Essences. Try #14, Dark Ash Blonde. The ash will tone down the brassy "gold" color that you see. If you are that concerned, try a hairdresser. They are expensive but can match it. The Herbal Essenses will be great, it is not permanent and will allow it to wash out if it is wrong. A permanent color is committment. Good luck to you.

1. Sun in isn't a great product.
2. I had the same problem but what I would do is dye your hair closet to your roots. (Dye whole head closet color to your roots)
3. Even if the color isn't exactly perfect when it grows out its hardly noticable.
4. ^ It makes it look like natural highlites.

Yes, it will be a bit darker. And if u really care about your hair, than i would advice u not 2 dye it; it'll make them sooo frizzy. Trust me! I've dyed my hair before and the result was:
1. Not the color i wanted.
2. FRIZZY hair.
So just keep ur hair the way they are!
GOOD LUCK!

Probably not. But if this prob occurs, use a root-touch up. It will dye your roots the same color.
Good Luck ;)

you should NOT dye your hair then. If you want it natural looking get highlighrs. I have the same hair color as you & I get highlights every 3-4 months & love it. It looks natural & isn't as obvius as actual dying.
