how to cut an emo haircut??

i think i could cut one but i'm scared to try it on my own and i can't go to a professional or anything for a while probably. it's the kinda of hairstyles that have the bangs parted to one side and the hair goes down to just above the shoulders and gets shorter or layered as it goes up. any ideas how exactly to do it??

I know, it's kind of scary the first time. But there's (almost) nothing that can go wrong... Hair grows quickly.

I gave up on hairdressers when I was 15. I always told them to "go wild" and I always ended up looking like Jennifer Aniston.
So I decided to cut my hair myself and I've been doing it for the past 8 years. It's easier than you might think!

The way I do it... I always cut my hair when it's dry, than you have a much better idea of what you're doing and of how it will look.
I take one lock and start cutting loosely, starting at my fingers and moving the scissors up slowly, following the lock. You can do it with a razorblade too, but then you start at the top and move down.
Be careful not to cut the shorter parts on top of your head too short, or you will end up looking like David Bowie. :-)

And finally, have a friend check the back of your head!
Just start with little bits, and see how it goes... You'll get the hang of it.

do no longer relatively have any guidance yet I even have the coiffure and the layers develop out quickly that can get stressful >.< even though it relatively is a gorgeous coiffure. when I have been given it decrease that way, each physique enjoyed it and nevertheless do :)
