I don't know too much but tears occur when you feel certain emotions: sad, mad, even happy, etc. and your brain signals to the rest of your body. Tears are a type of release. It can help you think better after you cry, and relax.
Your tear ducts are in your bottom eyelid. It's just a little hole. That's where the tears come from...
so yeah, I don't know what else to say... hope that helps!

I bottle everything up (it is just the way I am)
and everyonce in a while I will just feel overwhelmingly sad...
So I will sit there, then start to cry a little, then a lot, and the 10 or 15 minutes later I am done, but then I start talking to myself and I start crying again, only harder... then I fall asleep (being that I cry at night)
yep, that's how I cry, tehehe.

Certain emotions cause your eyes to create more tears than your eye ducts can carry away, just there is an over flow.

well in short you have tear glands below your eyes, when you feel emotional your brain sends messages to them, aggravating them, in turn they aggravate your eyes making them water to the point of tears.
