The K Club is probably the most known now since the 2006 Ryder Cup was played there. They have 2 courses, the smurfit and the arnold palmer course. They played the Ryder Cup on the arnold palmer course. Ive always wanted to play there, but another course ive always wanted to play is Waterville Golf Links. It looks like an absoulte amazing course.

Go Padraig!

Actually, according to none other than Tiger Woods himself, the best courses in Ireland happen to be in Northern Ireland. He raves about two in particular. Royal County Down, (Where the mountains of Mourne sweep down to the sea, as the song goes.)
Also Royal Portrush, officially the most difficult natural links course in the world. No machinery was ever involved in anything other than the greens. Darren Clarke and Graeme McDowell both are Portrush members since they wer kids.

I think Doonbeg is the prettiest course in Ireland. I would fly around the world to stand on the 14th tee. (even better if I could take just one swing!)
