Well I dont know who told you that, but even if it's true, why do every American person (starting with the President) think that US is the center of the world???
Do you think that every country is like this one, just thinking about wars and power?? No way, there're countries who also desire to have inner prosperity and good relations with other countries in order to produce profits for themselves.
Russia was an enemy of US when it was communist and that luckily for them ended in 1991. And China, even though apparently is communist, I dont think it's interested at all in starting a conflict.
US is the one which is always seeking a motive to start a conflict, sometimes even if the motive do not affect it directly.

No, it's not a danger.
We don't live in the 60's and 70's anymore. Wake up and smell the ipods. This is the year 2007. Russia, China, and the US are all attempting to be peaceful.
The real dangerous people are people who are ignorant enough to think that China and Russia will attack the US.

Since the fall of the Soviet Union China has no fear of Russia. Russia and China have one of those relationships of necessity whereby they live and exist not thru friendship but need. China is the biggest threat to world security with Russia a close second. Since the fall of the Soviet Union it's missile and nuclear technology has been sold to or smuggled into China making it a threat to the world. Our most important strides should be made in the area of the "star war" application. If it would have continued when Reagan first spoke of it this world would be a much safer place to live knowing that a nuclear attack was impossible.

In an all out war, the US could win against Russia AND China together. Of course this would probably end up nuclear, the US would be the victor.
The US's Navy and Air Force would control the sea and air within a month, no one can argue w/ that. And controling the air and sea means that America wouldnt be invaded (Any country invading AMerica would be suicide). Now the US has better tech and weapons than the commies, but the commies have more men. But w/ support from the air and sea, the US might not even have to put boots on the ground to win a war. All America would have to do is not worry about communist civiliian casualties; bomb everything.
China's main population is in big citys, so the US would just have to obliterate those citys, whether w/ conventional weapons or pull another Nagasaki or Hiroshimi on Hong Kong. If nuclear war broke out, which it most likely would, all countries involved would have ALOT of casualties, mostly civillian; but the US would come out on top.

Russia and China are not friends. China needs more land for its population to expand to, and the only place it can reasonably expand into is Russia. Many people in Russia consider China to be the biggest threat for Russia in 21st Century.

Russia and China are not friends. They just have similar stand on arab countries, which is they sell them arms. In a war on terror the views are different from U.S. to Russia and China, but R and C are not friends per say. They used to be in 1950s, but that ended soon. They even had military conflicts on the border.

There is hardly any occurence in world politics today that isn't a danger for the US. From the war in Iraq to energy policies, from immigration/emmigration laws to other domestic issues. The only "danger" that the US has to do away with is the one called "Bush" and every other thing would be less dangerous

The Chinese and the Russians are historic enemies even during the Communist era. The spied on each other and fought battles over border disputes. The have competing goals. So the relations may be lukewarm at best.

I wouldn't consider their relationship as "friends".
Militarily, they would back each other up during certain situations and both countries don't like North Korea or Iran having nuclear weapons.
