you should ask to all the ones that will say yes to this question if they would agree to open up the prisons and let the rapist, murderers, serial killers free to come and go in society also both the prisoners and illegals are one and the same both sets broke the law so why give amnesty to illegals and not to all the ones in prisons the concept is the same after all aren't most of the prisoners in jail because they were trying for a better life

well-being care expenses imposed by ability of illegals are predicted at some thing like a million billion. Divided over 12 million illegals, that is only 83 dollars a bite. that is between the bigger value estimates i've got heard. lower back taxes would be bigger, for those working under the table, yet a lot of them paid taxes already (under stolen SSNs), and have not been submitting returns - they might very nicely be 'owed' money - and the tax bill of those working off the books would be stressful to calculate. So it may be stressful to tabulate the bill, and it ought to no longer be extreme adequate to deter them. i think of sticking to our weapons and insisting they obey the regulation is a greater valuable guess. yet, granting some attention for coming forward, incredibly than having to seek all of them down, must be a sensible compromise. Outright Amnesty isn't a sturdy theory, yet a paintings visa and a place in line for citizenship /at the back of/ criminal immigrants ought to no longer be too unreasonable.

Amnesty for those who broke our laws just entering into our country - Illegally? No!
People, this country won't remain such as it is, if we keep turning a blind eye to what's happening. We're allowing our government to bend over backwards for those that come here illegally. Mind you, I am for immigration, but legal immigration. Do any of you have a dictionary, and actually know how to use it? Look up the word legal, and then illegal.
The last I heard, this country was giving the illegals credit cards (along with everything else), and who will be paying for these, when they fail to? Oh, that's right, make them legal, give them $50,000.00, welcome to our country, make yourselves at home.. BULL!
It will take time and money to get rid of the ILLEGALS, but people, we have got to start.

1. Why is it that Americans keep saying that illegal immigrants are taking away jobs when so many are also posting answers saying that these jobs illegal have are degrading and are all paid poorly.
2. The government has finally realized that they can't deport 12 million illegals and have decided the best thing to do is to grant them some sort of legal status so that they may live normal decent lives......
3. and for those who think that its not fair to the ones that are waiting in their countries for a visa: Some of the people that are here illegally once applied for a visa but because the day they had their appointment at the American embassy the "American in the consulate" was in a bad mood, their visa was denied. Some if not most cases of people that obtain their visa in their country do this by luck. And so the ones that were unable to do this.... will soon have the opportunity

I agree with Barb-either amnesty or a guest worker program. They should deport the criminals of course though and once this is all done, create a tighter security system around both of our borders (with Canada and Mexico) to make sure that noone slips in. We can't have terrorists coming in. It's impossible to deport so many people. So either amnesty or a guest worker program is going to happen. I don't mean to rile anyone up and get everyone angry-but you have to face the facts.

If this is so very possible to deport a mass of people, then why hasn't it happened yet? A few raids here and there, deporting a few hundred? Just a dent in the HUGE influx of illegals.

It is very possible to round up and deport all illegals. Confenscate there property like the law does with drug dealers and that will take care of the cost. By the way there are over 200,000,000 Americans. 11-12 million illegals. It is very very possible.

Illegals should never get amnesty.

Why not? We've been giving "amnesty" to the business owners who criminally invite and hire undocumented workers for generations. Let's ALL party down.
