You can't hate the person, but you hate what you have heard of them! Like I hate what Britney Spears has done, but I can't hate her because I don't know her! You know?!?!??! I hate what I have heard of Paris Hilton, but I don't hate her.

Yes, just as it is possible for us to love people that we have never met. Hatred stems from our fears. Fear can be displaced by faith, courage and the belief that those that we hate are, at the end of the day, no different that ourselves.

A lot of people have never met George W. Bush and hate him. I have never met Bill, or Hillary Clinton and while I don't hate them I do dislike them very much. I try not to hate anyone as it conflicts with my religion(Christainity). So, yes, I guess you can.
