Sometimes Love can be very complicated. Especially trying to define what love is.. This really depends on you b/c everyone sometimes has their only view of what love means to them. I personally feel that these factor matters in love relationship to last and to love someone is to:
Honor, respect, and trust. Care and support them. Be patience and listen to what they want and do as they ask even when you really don't agree with it. Love is saying yes, and always putting them first in your heart or mind. You miss them almost all of the time even when they are with you. and when they are done somewhere you miss them even much more. You rather spend your days and your life with them then anyone else in the world and you are not happy without them in your days or life. That's what I think love is and if you have this kind of loving feeling for someone then you are in love. There is a big difference BTW being in love and loving someone b/c you feel sorry for them. Don't be w/ someone b/c u feel sorry for them. If you are not in love then you don't love them. loving someone is like loving yourself, your own child, or your parents. You don't want anything to hurt or harm them and you always want to see them happy even if that means you will be hurt. I hope you will find what love is....

No it is not wrong but it is hard to live up to the expectations. But again not everyone knows what "love" really is. I believe it is just a word that is sometimes used to pacify someone into thinking that you care about them. There are different kinds of love though. Love for your children, spouse, parents, siblings, friends and pets.

Wow, i give a two thumbs up to "It'sJust-Me" answer on what love is. I so totally agree with you.
Coming back to the question, i feel that its not wrong to be loved by someone else and you cant return love back but that's only on condition that they know that. Sometimes being in a relationship can be quite depressing and confusing when you don't exactly know how you feel about your partner. To me that is not a relationship coz its based on lies. Imagine saying "i love you too" to your partner when you know in your heart that you don't know if you really love him/her. Imagine how unfair it is on your partner when he/she truly loves you and you are confused about your love towards him/her. To love someone is to sacrifice everything just so that it makes him/her happy and in turn he/she will do the same for you. Then you know what love is, then the foundation of your relationship is steady and will be prosperous.
If however you are not sure about your love for your partner, take some time off from one another and take a deep look at your life at what it will be like without him/her. it might be tough if you going out for quite some time but it will give the two of you plenty of time to understand the type of love you have. if you realise that your life is totally empty without him/ her then you know that your love is real, but if you feel that you can progress in life without him/her by your side then do the sensible thing and break of that false relationship you have so that someone else can give your partner the deserving love he/she needs to be happy.

Oh my...its very very sad to have someone love u and not to love them back :( I do hope u will soon find love..then u shall understand the power of it. Thats the power of love that u shud never underestimate. Just like u shud never underestimate da power of forgiveness.
I have a friend who loves her man deeply..but he doesnt love her that much, or he doesnt lov her at all.. :( and it's soo wrong! She realizes his lack of feelings for her..yet she stays. Why? Becoz she loves. And her heart aches. See, love is pain and pain is love as Ja Rule did say (yes, but when there's too much pain its time to move on, then its not abt love any more).

Then you've never been in love cuz there is a diffinite difference. I don't know your age but at any age, I think somone should be aware of romantic feelings versus family love or friend love. if you haven't experienced it yet, you will and when you do, you'll realize what love really is.

It is wrong to be loved by someone if you don't love them in return ...... if you are letting them give you their heart and taking it with out telling them that you don't feel the same.

when you want to be around that person everyday, and miss them at work and want to buy and provide and be there, and caress, and massage and boost them, then that is love. No, if you dont think you love someone, and your not sure if you do , then YOU DONT. there is nothing unsure about love. Dont feel bad, just say, you know what they are plenty of men out there who wont be unsure if they love you or not, and let her go find one.

Its not wrong to not love them, but it is wrong if you drag out the relationship. I think you should ask for space and your time apart might allow you to realize what was there when it's gone.

if u r happy with the person then no and u might fall in love or like you said u could love every1 and not no its what your truly happy with but personally i no when i am in love and who i love there is nothing wrong with not knowing aslong as u dont hurt any1
