I think I make this dish so well because it is a simple casserole.
Chicken Ritz Casserole
Ingredients:
5-6 chicken breasts, cooked
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 can cheddar broccoli soup
about 1/4 soup can of milk
1-1/2 c. sour cream
2 c. cooked minute rice (1 c. prior to cooking)
dash salt and pepper
30 to 40 Ritz crackers, crumbled
Butter
Cooking Instructions:
Cook chicken and remove chicken from bone and cut up. Place chicken in casserole dish. Mix together remaining ingredients. Pour mixed ingredients over chicken. Top with crushed Ritz crackers; dot with butter. Bake at 350F. for 45 mins.

Crab bisque/chowder! Why? Because I figured out how to make an excellent crab stock with no recipe, and the soup was a mix of like 3 different recipes, tweaked the way I wanted. It's a huge treat when we can get crab, and we save the shells (don't want those to go to waste!) from the night before and the next day I make the crab bisque.
It's soooooo good! The minute we buy crab we know what we're having for the next three days.

Steak and kidney pie. Shortcrust pastry.
My husband just loves this meal, but more importantly. so do I.
Also mince pies and sausage rolls. Just taking them out the oven now. The whole house smells good enough to eat.
I'm not a whizz in the kitchen but the above is what I can do best.

I cook everything well! one of my favourites is the Sunday chicken with rosemary and garlic, roast potatoes, broccoli and carrots. During the week I usually do quick meals but Sunday is special.

Smoked haddock and salmon fish pie followed by tiramisu.
Pie is topped with cheddar and gruyere and it's good because the whole thing uses half a pat of butter.

I do a fantastic shepherds pie. I add onion and mushrooms to the mince and I use real mashed potatoes (that I skin, boil and mash myself) not the powdered stuff you get in ready meals.

for breakfast i usually have oatmeal with a bit of honey, a hanful of raisins and a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice. for lunch i have a brown bread sandwhich with tuna or cottage cheese and turkey ham with lettuce and tomatoe. for dinner it depends with what my sister makes like curries or wraps, pasta, lasagne, salmon with brown rice and veg, meatloaf, sunday roasts..any home-cooked meals basically. =)
