I want to create two different color scheme for winter and summer in my bedroom. If I choose cream-mocha/coffee color sceme for winter and light green and aqua for summer days what color should I choose for the walls so that it harmonizes with both settings. I don't want (to be honest,I can't afford) to change wall colors with seasons. The walls are of brick and cement not of woodboards,so I can't simply attach wall papers and there is labouring cost too. Its a mediun sized room with a king size bed with a side table. The room is well lit( though not sunkissed.
Thanks in advance.

Thanks everybody.I had in mind the idea of beige or off white. But it varies according to different sites(e.g.dulux paints and behr ans asian paints). I am puzzled with lots of beiges, barleys and off-whites. Can anybody pls suggest a specific cream/beige/off white color code that will go with both of my color schemes from this site

You will not want a cream, beige, or any type of off-white. All you need is plain white. Simple. The wall color is not the main element of the room and you won't need to spend time laboring over it. White is a pure color that goes with anything (in case you want to change your theme), plus it's proven to make the room seem bigger, brighter, and much more cheerful! The brick is like a bonus. It will look great and modern with the white brick feel. And the cream/mocha paired with the light/green aqua will only make it look better! =)

I'd go with a basic (barely) off-white wall color- it's neutral and would work well with either color scheme. I wouldn't use a pure white- pure white and cream doesn't sound like a good combination unless the cream is significantly not-white. At the same time, youdon't want something really dark or visually heavy- it would not look right with your summer colors.
On second thought, I just read grandmadeb1's answer- I like the idea of a tan!!

Find the color scheme that you like and will go with what you have.
Just use sheers on the windows and pastel pillows in the summer. Maybe other summery accents. Like pictures. Look in thrift stores. Spray paint does wonders on dark wood frames to make them summery.
Then wintry drapes and matching darker pillows in the winter.
I personally love the cream-mocha/coffee idea. Those are my colors. You could use soft yellow or cream in the summer for curtains, and Rusty red in the winter.
Good Luck.

Why Not try looking at some of those shows on HGTV. I mean like "GET COLOR" or Devine Design I find that they have opened up a a whole new world of color To be seen Like you would never look at color before maybe looking at there past shows will give you some ideas. Try the show "get color" good luck and it couldn't hurt. I think .

I would go with a very soft beige or tan color, something like a white sand. It will blend nicely with the winter colors, and you can achieve a nice beach effect with the summer colors you want to use.

With a warm and cool palette it's best to stick to a neutral. With your light green/aqua I picture a strong bright white. I believe this will also go well with your brown tones, but you may want a softer white. you may need to balance between the two whites.

Personally, I would suggest going with a neutral white for the walls and then suplementing it with paintings and tapestries that can be changed with the seasons.
