Hey all-

My parents are adament about buying my hubby and I a honeymoon since we did not have one right after the wedding. We are looking to go the second week of May. I am actually going to be 5 months pregnant, so I'd like to go on the most comfortable Honeymoon possible, lol. We've ruled out Vegas (obviously haha) and Cancun because we both would like to go somewhere where we have never been before. I was thinking somewhere in the Caribbean that is not over-the-top expensive. I got scared away from Nassaeu(sp?) in the Bahamas because I was reading some terrible reviews of what it seemed like every hotel on Travelocity.

We are basically looking to relax beachside (don't worry no tanning/overheating for me), have a nice cozy room with a view, and maybe enjoy some nightlife as well. Anybody have any suggestions for any particular islands or resorts? Thank you guys:)

My wife and I are members of the Palace Resorts in Cancun. Actually The Palace has hotels in Cancun, Riviera Maya, Cozumel.... Etc..... The hotels I will refer to as Resorts as the word Hotel certainly doesn't come close to describing them. They are all-inclusive.....Food and Drink at any and all of their resorts during your stay. We always stay for a week but I know they offer 4 and 5 day packages also. Don't forget you'll need a passport. Check them out at http://www.palaceresorts.com/

lots of info through expedia, travelocity ...etc also on these resorts. Check pricing on many sights, also check e-bay for members selling a week at their rates which can possibly save you some money too. Have fun ... Its My Paradise... You'll Love it

I hardly got big at all when i pregnant with my daughter until the very end. Even then, i ran into people afterwards (who had seen me all through my pregnancy) that said they hadn't even known i was pregnant. And she was born a perfectly healthy 7 1/2 lbs> As long as your doctor says everything is fine, i wouldn't worry about it. Count your blessings at having less weight to lose in the long run! Oh, and love those boobs while you still got em! LOL

I traveled to Jamaica when I was 12 weeks pregnant and then to St. Louis when I was 18 weeks pregnant. I've never gotten sick on a flight before but I became sick both times. The motion, dry air, and heat on the plane did it for me. So I would recommend a short flight. If you are on the East coast the bahamas and bermuda are close by.

Check out the Sandals Resort on the island of Antigua (pronounced An-tee-gah, not An-tee-gwa). It's a couples' resort and a popular destination wedding/honeymoon venue so you'll meet a lot of couples in your age group. Some are on their first, second or make-up honeymoon too!
Check out this link for more details:

Take care, enjoy and God bless!

Hey, Come to Puerto Rico. We have many hotels which makes you relax in front of the beach and the ocean. One of my favorite hotels is from the Hilton family of hotels. I recommend Marriot, Intercontinetal. Condado Hotel PLaza. It's pretty and is next to the ocean. If you want to spend big in a hotel I suggest the all inclusive Paradisus Hotel. It resemmbles it's name. Big POOL right in front of the Ocean. YOU CAN EAT ALL YOU WANT JUST BY STAYING IN THE HOTEL.

But if you want to stay on the south I suggest you stay in Ponce Hilton Hotel and Casino: To me is the most beautiful of the hiltons chain in Puerto Rico.

Now Good Luck y A Gozar!!

Why don't you try Niagra Falls? You have the views, casinos, all that sort of thing. Of course all I remember from there was some sort of rotating restaurant - but I was about 2 at that time and my mother was very pregnant with my brother.

I think you might want to check with your doctor first. 5 months you may not want to be flying.
By May the Caribbean is getting warmer, but Barabados is safe, quiet, beaches are nice and tourist season will be over so good rates.
