i am 16 years old and i dont have a creditcard or even a passport.
so how can i be able to open an US bank account.i need an US bank account to withdraw my paypal funds and I also don't want my family to get involve. how can i get one?

You can open an account you can get a student account at a lot of different banks, I had my first checking account at seventeen, A banking rep. was there, it was called bank at work and I had my check direct deposited. Most banks have them. Also you could go to Netspend.com and get an account with a mastercard that you can reload and paypal transfers are free or go to Netbank.com, you need your state ID which is easy to get just go to the DMV and take your school ID card, a piece of mail, your grade and or your school transcript or schedule and get one. Whatever state you live in they probably have a list of document on their website. You are not screwed you will get your money.

Do you have any friends (with bank accounts) that you trust?
Use them to collect your funds.
Also, I don't think you need a passport to open a bank account. But if you did, you can get one, it just takes some time. You need a birth certificate,
To open a bank account all you need is a picture ID and a social secuirty number.

A Paypal account is not an American bank account.
You can open one if you have your own bank account, and or a credit card. If you don't have either, you're screwed. Wait till you're older.

you can't enter into a contract until you are 18,
so you can't open a bank account.
you can get a paypal account using a prepaid credit card.
you goto a store, get one, use that to verify your paypal info,
then you can get the paypal debit, and withdrawl it at an atm,

You can't open an account in the US until you reach the age of majority (18 in most states). Also, due to the USA PATRIOT Act, you can't open an account without proper identification.

I would apply for the type of credit card where you put money into it.... like a Visa Bux card... and then open your paypal account with that...
However, I think you have to be 18 to have paypal anyway.

Your too young. Your gonna have to wait until you can meet the requirements of pay pal.
