You will have to be a bit more specific in what you mean by "extra courses" in an ECE program.

But, if you mean ECE courses outside the required classes in the core program then I can help you. Some schools/universities call these electives or technical electives.

The amount and content of these courses can vary from place to place, so try to get a hold of a course catalog or get on a university registrar website with course information. Where I go to school, our ECE department has many courses/labs such as VLSI circuit design, antenna theory and high voltage engineering.

In fact, check out The Ohio State University's ECE course listings. Classes with numbers less than 800 are available to undergraduates. The link below should give you an idea of what is out there at many ABET accredited universities.

Try to study some computer courses. Especially any course in NIIT. Its really useful for u to get a job. I studied ECE too, and studied in NIIT, and got placed in a MNC thru NIIT.

If you can take care of the placement on your own, study some basic courses like C, C++, SQL. But, the course fee is high.
