im 16 and i never kne that my parents got divorced and have just been living together until last year they went to a lawyer and got remarried, without anyone knowing! i didnt find this out till last night and im so hurt, wat should i do. should i tell them i know now, or just let it ride?? i never thought theyd lie to me about something like this, for 16 years!!

I think that is great!!! Sweet even!!! Your lucky to have them... they are "for real".
It is none of your business.... Your job is to love your parents "Unconditionally".... Just like you want them to love you!!
It has nothing to do with you at all ... except you can be proud that your parents are Kool People. They did what they thought was right at the time in their relationship and got divorced and found that now the right thing to do is be married.
Nothing in this world happens by accident... God has a reason for everything. May be being legally divorced forced them to consider their commitment in a different light...... like they wanted to stay together... not that they had to.

They didnt lie to you, they were together in the same house being your mom and dad and loving eachother. The reason's for their getting a legal divorce may be way different than you think. Sometimes people do it for financial reasons like if one of them had bad credit but they wanted to buy a house or get a second mortgage etc.
Whatever their reasons are, they did not lie to you, you never asked them if they were married did you? Anyway it's not that big of a deal if they got remarried they apparently never stopped loving eachother. and whatever they had going on, they didnt tell you simply because their was no reason to and you only would have worried.

And why does this matter to you? Your parents are your parents whether they are married or not ... If they got divorced and back together and you have been just fine than it shouldn't bug you ... Your parents obviously made a mistake getting divorced the first time and since they are now remarried without anyone knowing than Respect their privacy and allow them to be happy, stop thinking about how hurt you are over their secret and be a good daughter.

I'm sorry. I don't see the problem. Why does that require a reaction or decision on your part? I'm lost. Oh, you said they LIED!!! Okay!! I would check every story they told me then, and they probably told a few more too just to pull off the big one about being married. They fooled you to pretend they did something else. Pretenders Never Change!! Unless They're 2 Years OLD!! Get over it. You know why they lied about that. It used to be a bigger deal when they grew up!! I would still keep it in mind though that You Don't know all their business But they Don't Know All of Yours Either!! They didn't have to say anything at all about it to you but they did. They didn't want to KEEP lying. They proved that to you!! Sound like good parents to me.

Well I can sympathize with you. I didn't know until I was around 12 that my parents got a divorce when I was 3, because they lived together until my dad died when I was 14. But they didn't remarry each other. I wouldn't say anything about it really unless they say something to you. They didn't say anything to you about the divorce because they love you and didn't want you hurt.

parents go through issues just like you do... when you get older you will understand better why they may have done it.. or just ask them now... it really is only their business, if they were still living together and nothing was really different other than legally, really, what effect did it even have, if any at all.. i wouldnt worry about it, it will be the same as if you and your boyfriend decided to just be friends and you still hung out all the time, whos business would it really be. best of luck â¥

I understand what you are going through. I am not in that situation and if I was when I was 16, I would be shocked and scared about how life would be afterwards. You shouldn't tell them because they kept it from you for a reason.

Why are you hurt? They obviously love each other and that's the real reason they are together... hehe... I think that story is cute!
I don't think they were lying to you so much as just trying not to confuse you or get you involved in their drama.
